Victory Junction Gang Camp
Thanks to the initiative and commitment of Kyle and Pattie Petty, and the inspiration of Hole In The Wall Gang
Camp founder, Paul Newman, the idea for this extraordinary development became a reality.
The camp complex is built on 75 acres of land donated by Nascar champion, Richard Petty and his wife, Lynda.
It's racing theme incorporates the sight, sound, look and feel of racing, complete with an oval track. This 36
building complex, including a medical center, features a racecar shaped building honoring Kyle and Pattie Petty's
son Adam Petty. Designed, engineered and installed by Symmetry Products Group, this unique and colorful structure
is 3-stories high and over 100 feet long. It replicates Adam Petty's number 45 Spree racing car. The building
houses the conference center and functions as the icon of the camp. Skylights at the windshield and rear
window allow natural light to flow through. The internal frames and overall shape of the car was prefabricated
in our spacious plant in Lincoln, RI through computer-generated models, mock-ups and templates. The car was then
unassembled, shipped and installed at the sight. The finish and painting was completed on sight to further
replicate Adam's car.
Symmetry Products Group also designed, engineered and installed the slide like shaped motorcycle in the middle
of the water park pool. This motorcycle spouts water, coughs and roars into life at regular intervals.
This racing theme park services children ages 7- 15 who have suvh illnesses as cancer, hemophilia, juvenile
arthritis, sickle cell anemia, epilepsy, heart disease, seizure disorder and spinal bifida. This camp is about
giving children memories that will sustain and inspire them. Here, the children will not have to worry about
being different, they can have fun doing activities of summer camp, and make friends. SPG is proud to have played
a major role in this successful project development.
